Reproductive Services: Dr. Alicia specializes in equine reproduction and provides a number of breeding related services from breeding soundness exams (both mare and stallion), diagnostic work-up and treatment for "Problem-breeders", embryo transfer, as well as routine semen collection training/shipping/freezing and mare breeding management. Rose Mountain Equine offers Seasonal Breeding Management Plans to manage your mare not only through the breeding process, but also to provide supportive care throughout gestation and foaling.
Foal Care: From the moment their hooves first hit the ground, taking care of a foal comes with many factors to navigate. Dr. Alicia can help provide care and guidance to maximize your foal's potential
General Wellness & Preventative: General Wellness & Preventative : Routine care at all stages of life is important to maintaining health, maximizing performance, and preparing for age-related life changes. Rose Mountain Equine can provide routine dental care, vaccinations, and diagnostic testing (including if needed paperwork for shows/travel such as Coggins & Health Certificates), to help your equine live their best lives.
Emergency: Rose Mountain Equine provides emergency services for when the unexpected happens so that your equine can receive the stabilizing care they need and further treatment plans can be made as efficiently as possible.
Surgery:Field surgical procedures are available to be performed such as routine castration, chronic wound debridement, small mass removal, and routine mare reproductive surgeries such as caslick procedure. Additionally assessment of condition and recommendations for referral options are available if warranted.
Diagnostic Imaging/Procedures:Rose Mountain Equine offers digital x-rays, upper-airway and reproductive tract endoscopy, as well as ultrasonography diagnostic assessments.
