Dr. Alicia:
Dr. Alicia Lindholm, DVM, DACT grew up in the Pacific Northwest, on an apple orchard in Chelan WA. While no one in her immediate family is a horse person, Dr. Alicia has always been captivated by them and once in vet school at Washington State University (go COUGS!), she got her first taste of equine reproductive medicine working with Dr. Ahmed Tibary and hasn’t looked back. After graduating from WSU she spent a year in Kentucky at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital for an Ambulatory Internship, where she got to meet and work with legends of the Equine Repro world like the late great Dr. Michelle LeBlanc. From Kentucky’s thoroughbreds, Dr. Alicia went to Colorado State University’s Equine Reproduction Lab under the mentorship of another legend, Dr. Pat McCue. She completed her Masters and Residency program at CSU and spent a little over a year in Louisiana at a private practice with Louisiana's racing Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses before heading west to Tucson. Much has changed during the now many years that Dr. Alicia and her family have called the Old Pueblo home, except that her love of the horse is still the driving force behind everything she does.
