The goal of breeding one's mare is not only to get her pregnant or produce an embryo, but ultimately to get a live healthy foal on the ground. Therefore the goal of Rose Mountain's Seasonal Breeding Management Plans is to maximize efficiency in getting your mare pregnant, but also to provide care and guidance through the entire process so that you get the baby horse you set out to create.
Plans Includes:
*Does NOT include discounting on: Board, diagnostics (e.g. uterine culture/cytology), uterine treatments (e.g. lavage, antibiotics, etc.), stallion breeding/collection fees (live-cover & fresh AI breeds), non-breeding related procedures/treatments
- Tracking cycle for breeding ultrasounds:
- Monitoring = 8
- Ovulation confirmation = 2
- Dose of prostaglandin medication =1
- Dose of an ovulation medication = 1
- Session of artificial insemination =1 (where applicable)
- 1st pregnancy diagnosing ultrasound = 2
- Reduced price for semen shipper container returns
- 40% off additional breeding & pregnancy monitoring ultrasounds
- 30% off additional prostaglandin or ovulation medications
- 15% off all recommended vaccines (pre-breeding/during gestation/pre-foaling)
- 40% off ultrasounds during treatment if mare requires treatment for uterine infection
